The Goldring 1000 series are advanced moving magnet designs that embrace all the advantages of modern phono cartridge technology, including improved tracking ability and user-replacement stylus assembly allowing the immediate replacement of worn or damaged Styli.

The four 1000 series Goldring cartridges all share the same strong, one-piece body made from Po can, an ultra-rigid glass-reinforced polyester. All fixed parts can be held securely in place and the body can be tightly bolted to the head shell. The 1000 Series are each endowed with a highly efficient magnetic circuit which makes for a smooth and extended frequency response. As with all Goldring cartridges, the 1000 Series is rigorously tested to ensure optimum standards of performance and reliability.

Goldring 1006

The Goldring 1006 is designed for owners who want to get the very best from their systems at a budget price. This cartridge has an Elliptical tip for improved high frequency clarity and a powerful miniature magnet to ensure high sensitivity

Goldring 1012GX

The Goldring 1012GX uses the acclaimed Gyger II diamond stylus. This is a fine line type which gives smooth extended high frequencies with low distortion and reproduces a highly detailed and dynamic sound. Goldring 1022GX

The 1022GX is a mid-priced cartridge for the discerning listener. The diamond stylus is a Gyger 1 fine line contact type which provides increased resolution and ensures the maximum accuracy of musical reproduction. The Elite incorporates a Gyger I line contact stylus providing maximum groove information retrieval and an outstandingly smooth and extended response. Optimum damping on both channels is achieved by symmetrically winding the low mass armature.

Goldring 1042

"So, is the Goldring 1042 Cartridge the High-End Bargain of the Decade? Maybe. Is it the best Cartridge around? No certainly not, but it is VERY GOOD. Should you buy one? Well, if you are in the market for a new high-output Cartridge (mm or mc) you should certainly shortlist it. As long as your system is essentially neutral in its tonal balance, the 1042 will do the trick for you. I have come across this lowly onehundertandtwenty pound cartridge in SME Series V Arm's on various Tables and the Goldring certainly lived up to its partners."
