Transfiguration Cartridges
Transfiguration cartridges redefine natural musicality. The new improved range employs a brilliant yokeless ring-magnet generator construction, this places the moving coil at the focal point of the magnetic flux field.
This results in a new level of focus and natural resolution, due to the reduction of phase errors generated by the normal magnet-with-pole-pieces construction of other cartridges. This also provides an overall balance from top to bottom octaves that is neutral in the very best sense of the word. Vocals have a 'you-are-there' presence with a tonality that is exactly right, without the chesty undertones or lispy overtones encountered in so many other premium cartridges.

Orpheus - L
The new top-of-the-line cartridge from Transfiguration. Made in limited quantities due to the precision requirements of the parts selected.
A new generation of yokeless moving coil cartridge, the Orpheus exhibits incrediblesonic capabilities that make significant contribution to the state-of-the-art in analog recording reproduction. An incredibly sophisticated and technically challenging construction is utilised in the ring-magnet system in the Orpheus-L.
Tight construction tolerances and exceptional skill are required by the master cartridge builder, who hand produces each Orpheus cartridge one at a time.
